The calamari portion was great... read more I came here for a birthday dinner and had a great time. We started off with the Southwest Chicken Egg rolls, which were amazing!! The calamari portion was great, but they were too chewy. I think they overcooked them, so it was like rubber. The shrimp and grits were pretty good. I think they could season the shrimp more, but overall I was pleased with the plate. It didn?t lack flavor, and the portion is pretty large. I think you can really get a good bang for your buck here. All the meals are reasonably priced and portioned well. We also received good service for a party of 7. The server brought out a complimentary brownie dessert with a candle for my friend's birthday, which was a nice added touch. I will now make this a go-to when I visit the cabins.

I can confirm that the steaks were well-seasoned, tender, and flavorful, but unfortunately, they were very fatty. Both of our orders came with a large amount of fat and only a small portion of actual meat. While the taste was enjoyable, we could only eat about half of our 16 oz servings, which left us disappointed. The photos show my plate upon arrival and the trimmed fat I removed. At least our dogs got to enjoy the leftovers. Unfortunately, I have to give this restaurant 3 stars because it was nothing extraordinary. Additionally, our martinis, which we requested not shaken over ice, were served on ice anyway, and the lemon drop was overly sweet and dulled because of this. It seems like a more tourist-oriented spot, but I hope they focus on refining their attention to detail to enhance both food and service in the future.
