Decatur Dairy - Brodhead

I found them on Wisconsin Foodie and the experience was exceptional and worth the drive. The individual who waited on us was friendly and helpful. We tasted both the swiss and the swiss/colby combination and both were outstanding which we purchased both. The highlight is the grilled cheese sandwich (three musketeers) which was exceptional. Well worth the visit!

Grilled cheese is fantastic! And their fresh curds are also amazing! We drove an hour out of our way to get here just for some fresh cheese curds and it was well worth it! Highly recommend!

I bought cheese on July 28th and ordered 11 pounds of a variety of cheeses, specifically requesting them to be wrapped in 1/4 pound portions. They have done this for me in the past, but this time they wrapped them in 1/2 pound pieces instead. I had to rewrap the cheese myself. I live in California and I usually give these cheeses as gifts each year. My friends appreciate the labels, but now I'm stuck with plain rewrapped pieces of cheese. I'm really disappointed with this experience.

As out-of-state visitors, we joined a bustling and enthusiastic crowd waiting for our order. The menu featured toasted cheese sandwiches with a delightful selection of cheeses. We opted for a combo that came with a bag of chips and a choice of drink, topped off with either a dish or cone of ice cream. It was a fantastic deal and very delicious. We settled down at a picnic table shaded by an umbrella and enjoyed the lovely atmosphere while savoring our meal.

This place has the best grilled cheese you'll find anywhere. They offer a fantastic selection of cheese curds with numerous flavor options. The view of the countryside is lovely, and the atmosphere is very laid-back.
