We ordered take out last night for dinner and the order was filled by the time stated. The food was good and portion size very adequate, The prices have gone up substantially and felt we paid more then usual. View all feedback.
I have worked at NY for 4 1/2 years and I have noticed that there are two critical reviews. I want to defend my job! While no restaurant is perfect, we strive to provide unique and delicious Chinese food that is cooked fresh to order. Our food is far superior to Chinese buffet restaurants and we also make sure to be accurate in our delivery orders. Many of our customers have said that we are their favorite restaurant and have been coming here for decades. We offer a Chinese menu as well as a small Canadian menu for those who prefer it. The name of our restaurant has been NY since 1930 when it first opened. The original owners wanted to bring a taste of the big city to the small town of Brockville, including the culture of Chinatown in New York City. (This is my theory). Please come back and give us a second chance, we will do our best to make it right :-)

Alice and staff are always friendly. Food is good and priced right. They have the best general Tao chicken.
I don't each Chinese food too often- but a couple times a year I get a craving for it. We usually come here, to the New York Resturant and last night was no exception. I got the weekend for one combo, which consisted of large portions of broccoli and beef, chicken fried rice, chicken balls, and an egg roll. I also got a hot and sour soup. All were delicious- I placed my order 20 minutes to close and all the ingredients were fresh. I reccomend this place to anyone who is looking for Chinese takeout, I never get that "sick" feeling after Chinese food either at this resturant!
Very very bland food even tho the service was friendly, she forgot to bring things, like tea and napkins. won't go back
