The restaurant serves delicious, generously portioned meals such as the creamy Chicken Curry with Apples. The all-day breakfast buffet is hit or miss, but the a la carte menu consistently delivers excellent dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The menu offers a wide variety of options, from sandwiches to full meals, at reasonable prices. Whether you're there for golf or just a meal, Cedar Valley is worth a visit for its great food, welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service.
We enjoyed a fabulous meal after a round of golf, food was excellent, reasonably priced and you get your money's worth. I had the Chicken Curry with Apples, my companions had the Reuben (Smoked meat) sandwich, a Cheddar, Bacon & Mushroom burger, a Pork Souvlaki. Very friendly staff and fast service, off County Road 29, towards Smith Falls from Elizabethtown-Kitley (Brockville) and I'm definitely going to go there again.
My wife and I stopped here for lunch on a Thursday without playing our regular round of golf. The restaurant was quite busy hosting a private event with several guests in the large dining room and several tables of other diners in the lounge/ smaller dining area. Despite the numbers of people the service was prompt and the staff as usual very friendly. Our drink orders were taken quickly and promptly served and our orders of soup of the day and fish and chips was taken and delivered in very short order. The cream of chicken soup was home made and most flavourful with a good amount of meat and veggies. The fish and chips - the restaurants most popular dish was excellent. A large piece of perfectly cooked fish with a crisp and non greasy breading and the fish a flaky melt in the mouth consistency. The "famous chips" were so delicious with an adequate plateful. The only criticism I would offer is the accompanying side of cole slaw amounted to just a couple of tablespoons which I think was woefully inadequate. The relatively inexpensive price was an added bonus. There was no room for desert. I might add that the menu offerings were many and covered a broad range of choices from sandwiches to full meals. Although the ambiance is " golf club" and not too intimate I would not hesitate to recommend a visit for a meal. They even serve breakfast. Great food, great staff and great price.
I went with a large group of 18 people. We were placed in the front room so we were semi secluded from everyone else it was lovely. The service was very quick and the servers were very friendly. The chicken I had was extremely good however I did not feel it was worth the amount we payed.
The god here is always well cooked and tasty. Service is good. Menu is varied and prices are good. Their Sunday "Nine and Dine" is a great deal and their breakfast brunch is good.
Went there for supper we ordered the fish and chips The fish was as good as i get fresh on the west coast, nice batter and not greasy The chips were good but the portion was very small they could make it larger
