Bytown Bayou - Brockville

Tried this place at the poutine festival on April 27th at noon...ordered before 12 PM and finally got my food at 1245 ish. Apparently they had trouble making the fries, and we're not very good at advising the crowd who ordered. They also seemed very disorganized inside the truck. The pouting was ok but the fries could of been cooked more, i found them a little under cooked and the portion was small for 9 dollars. I did enjoy there gravy and cheese curds . I think maybe they should not do this kind of festival or be more prepared next time.

This food truck came to Cornwall, ON last weekend for a food festival. We purchased two chicken tacos and two pulled pork tacos for a whopping total of $20.00.. For tacos!! These were by far the worst tacos we have ever eaten. Both meats were unseasoned pulled meat piled in an ice cold flour tortilla shell then topped with ice cold coleslaw. On top of that, they then drizzle barbecue sauce and another ice cold spicy mayo type of dressing on top. I should have just gone with one of their outrageously priced $10 poutines, at least it would have been hot. Gave two stars because the people taking the orders were very friendly, if not for them it would definitely be 1 star.

Go to try the mix platter of beef brisket, pull pork, ribs very very good to die for generous serving bought that for 2 people and got some left over do not miss your chance to try it

On this day the menu was all different sorts of poutine, which I just wasn't in the mood for. So I chose the pulled pork taco which was ok, but the star on my plate was the coleslaw. I would come back again and hopefully get to try their ribs.

Was visiting some family in Embrun and decided to try the Bytown Bayou truck.... it was amazing!! My wife had the ribs and she loved them. I had the pulled pork with cold slaw. I would highly recommend if you're in the area!!
