What ShermansMother doesn't like about The Sett:
I visited this restaurant based on previous reviews that mentioned a separate vegan section on the menu, but unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Beautiful pub. many vegan options and service with a smile. also dog friendly!
A homemade country pub that serves a few different vegan options, including burger a curry and homemade hummus etc. I tried the baked risotto and ratatouille burger, which beautiful and another take on the standard vegan burger I enjoyed, the hand it chips were excellent and had a great texture to them.
A homely country pub serving a few different vegan options including burgers a curry and homemade hummus etc. I tried the breaded risotto and ratatouille burger which was nice and a different take on the standard vegan burger which I enjoyed, the hand it chips were excellent and had a great texture to them.
I visited this restaurant based on previous reviews that mentioned a separate vegan section on the menu, but unfortunately, that is no longer the case. They have also removed the second burger option, leaving very limited choices for vegans. The main options consist of standard pub fare, such as curry or one type of burger, which was a strange fried-up risotto patty that was greasy and not very tasty. There was only one vegan starter available, which was hummus with sad vegetables and pita bread. Despite the friendly staff and nice atmosphere, I found the experience to be disappointing and expensive. Additionally, I was disturbed to find that the vinegar bottle on the table was filled with dead flies. Overall, a very unpleasant discovery. (Updated from previous review on 2023-10-17)
It was a pleasant restaurant with a selection of vegan dishes available. The curry was particularly delicious.
