A great cry to the Hummingbird Bistro for their excellent service and food!!! Donnie Owen and his Hummingbird crew have my son and the wedding dinner of the daughter-in-law on 13. September supervised. They served 40 people a menu of steak cheeses, broccoli salad, pasta salad, beans, chips and cherry pleasure. The food was extraordinary! In fact, many guests said the sandwich right up with the best cheese steaks they had ever eaten!!! The guests always thanked me for the order of the Hummingbird Bistro for dinner. All were more than satisfied with their dinner and kindness shown by the Bistro staff!!! Susan Anderson

Very good food! Cheaper than a lot of the other local restaurants as well. They are open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and some Saturdays when there are events or the fall festivals, etc. There is a good selection, some favorites are the breakfast burrito, the lunch quesadillas with homemade salsa, and of course the pulled pork sandwiches. I'd say the smoked wings are my favorite, but be very careful or bring a bib, if you get them sauced it's gloriously messy! The menu changes from week to week, follow them on Facebook or pop in and check the chalkboard if you want to know what is on offer. Also, the various desserts are pretty incredible, I'd definitely recommend the sticky buns! Good, local, and seasonal. Can't beat it. They do catering too!
