I recently visited The Little Albion in St. Peters during Volkswoche, where I was happy to catch the Okee Dokee band performing. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, yet it has a fresh and airy vibe that sets it apart from the typical dark and dreary pubs. The beer prices are reasonable, and they also offer alternatives for designated drivers. The bar meals I tried were definitely a step up from the usual pub fare, which was a pleasant surprise. There are still a few picnic-style tables on the pavement for smokers. Located in a quieter area, it avoids the chaos of the Friday and Saturday night crowds from Broadstairs, which is a definite plus!
