Unfortunately, the service was slow and confused, although it was almost empty. the waitress forgot what was dessert ordered and put a drink if he didn't want. the place was on the cold side. this place was really good earlier and eating was still excellent, but I would really think twice before I went back
I usually have a nice meal at the captain digby, but found the chicken sluice very dry and left most of it. a little disappointing
Great food as ever. Well cooked, plenty of choices and service from friendly staff
What more could I possibly say other than that we enjoyed everything about our recent visit from start to finish and would wholeheartedly recommend The Captain Digby to anyone who wants an enjoyable visit to a location with great cliff-top views, great Staff, great food and very keen prices in the present economic climate.
