Loved the crispy chicken with basil I ordered. I also had other food and they were fantastic! The owner and his wife who cooked the food are wonderful people. I will always order from this place when I long Thai food! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mali Thai Cuisine:
First delivery of them, not impressed. Food quality was safely suspected. Chicken Pad Thai was invalid from chicken and many other things I would expect to see in a pad Thai. It was sad. I could go closer to the food, but it's not worth it. They also work with Door Dash to deliver what was not revealed. I don't care about third-party dealers. And for these reasons, I'm out. See this place several times near my gym and decided to check it. She looked pretty suspicious from the outside, but was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful decor and food is authentic. The midday spring roll and the salad are excellent. Several entrees from Padthai to rice dishes were tested, all well. Only negative is the smell sometimes (sold as old waste water). Repair this and almost perfection.
This was the only Thai restaurant in Ashburn I would go to. But lately I noticed that their dinner portions have become smaller and smaller. The food has become bland and tasteless. I thought it was me but my whole family said the same thing. No one is enjoying their food anymore. We are very disappointed. Not sure if their chef has changed but we are not going their anymore.
One of my friends recommended this place to me! The place is takeout/delivery ONLY, so you have the options to order online or onsite. I ordered the Beef Pad See Ew, Ped Kapow Prod (crispy seasoned duck , and Shrimp Tom Yum Soup. Since my order was above $20, I got a free Thai Tea Limeade. The Beef Pad See Ew was really good and did not disappoint! Well-seasoned and spiced, the noodles were perfectly cooked and chewy, and the beef was tender and flavorful. Definitely a go to order if you don't know what to get and want play the safe side, but still want something traditionally Thai. I wanted to try something new and also ordered the Ped Kapow Prod after seeing a delicious pic of it on Yelp. I LOVED IT! Has a subtle spicy kick to it, and I loved the seasoning and sauciness to it. The duck was soft and tender. It kind of reminds of General Tso's chicken from Chinese restaurants but better : This is a new favorite and would definitely order this again. The Shrimp Tom Yum Soup was also good. The broth was THE SPOTLIGHT for sure! I definitely wish there was more shrimp though. and the Thai Tea Limeade was so good and refreshing, the perfect partner to enjoy your Thai cuisine meal. For sure, Mali Thai Cuisine is one of the better Thai restaurants in the area :
Tucked in broadlands shopping complex, modest looking thai place, tried their crispy roasted duck was delicious, and other dishes were cooked to your taste
First time visit here~ Lunch price is good, but taste wise 2% short on something and I figured that, I am so used to strong Thai fish sauce and Basil taste... this place is less of those strong taste. If you dont like those strong taste~ this place is perfect for you~ I had Papaya Salad Tom yam goong Drunken Noodle And Green Curry~ And if you like spicy make sure you mention it when you order the food~ Overall quite and kids friendly restaurant!
