Contribute FeedbackNumber 14 offers a varied menu that delights some patrons with delicious options like brioche French toast and creative sandwiches, accompanied by friendly staff. However, inconsistency in food quality has left many diners disappointed. While some enjoy the selection of cakes and treats, others have faced mediocre dishes and underwhelming coffee experiences. Despite several reviews highlighting the restaurant's charm and potential, recurring issues with meal preparations, especially during busy times, have caused patrons to reconsider their loyalty. For a delightful outing, visitors are encouraged to manage expectations and explore the varied offerings while hoping for improvement.
Amazing breakfast with really good quality ingredients. Very friendly, I would definitely recommend this place as the top place to eat in Wroxham
Have been here a number of times over the past few years and it 's generally been ok.Prior to last visit we went a couple of months ago, just b4 closing time and got egg on toast. This time arrived before 3 and asked for egg on toast, only to be told that the 'tops had been cleaned down in kitchen ' so couldn 't have it.Then tried for the 'special ' of avocado egg and was met with similar response so why have it still on the specials board ? .Ended up with mediocre ciabatta and a sandwich, both with salad garnish drowned in balsamic vinegar. To add insult to injury the cappuccino s were more froth than coffee and v weak. Will probably not go there again.
My aunt requested a gluten-free cake and was told it was completely gluten-free. However, the cake was very dry and crumbled easily. After 20 minutes, she experienced severe stomach and bowel issues. We believe that this product was not actually gluten-free, so if you have a gluten intolerance, it's best to avoid these cakes.
I ordered two oat flat whites and received two cups of scalding hot milk with no coffee flavor. I ended up burning my tongue and had to throw the coffee away because it was essentially just hot milk. It's a shame because the cakes and other items looked good, but the coffee was disappointing.
Had spotted Number 14 online prior to visiting last week and it was such a lovely experience. Great welcome, great table and the lattes and Brie bacon cranberry ciabatta were absolutely delicious. The menu is so varied, we took ages making up our minds and that’s before you try and choose a sweet treat from the two cabinets! Thank you for such an enjoyable time.
