This restaurant is a five-star gem, but getting there from the land side takes some effort. It's easier to arrive by boat through the river. The road leading to the restaurant is only wide enough for one car and has lane crossing gates that must be opened by the staff upon calling. The road itself is not paved and is located in the middle of nowhere. They really hope you don't get stranded there because getting rescued or receiving street assistance would be difficult. It's an epic experience!
The restaurant was closed to the public as it was undergoing renovations, so we couldn't see inside. However, we were able to take pictures of the charming windmill outside. It was a nice and peaceful place to visit if you enjoy this type of setting.
The location is a glorious. Sadly the windmill has become a national disgrace. It has been preserved for the nation and is managed by English Heratige who have allowed it to become semi derelict. It is in poor condition and has been closed to the public. Should have rated as 5 stars but can only score 1.
It was shut down to people because it was going through a restaurant so could not see inside but got pictures of this windmill outside of it nice and quiet place to go to if u like this sort of things
'Five stars ' place *lol. But need some effort to go there from the land side :D. Easier by boat through the river I suppose. Only one-car-wide road with rail crossing gates that you need to open by yourself (need to call first) and then afterward non paved road...in the middle of nowhere. You really hoping not stranded there because rescue/road assistance will be difficult. Epic!
