Loved the buffet breakfast. Has all the options to make an English breakfast, as well as an array of fruits, pastries, hams and cheeses and even some Asian porridge on the side. Staff are pleasant and polite, and the chef was lovely when I asked if she could make fried eggs for me rather than the usual scrambled. Also saw others asking for poached eggs and omelettes (so you can definitely ask! . View all feedback.
I had my first meal at my hotel and it was at Bistro On3. I ordered the Angus Beef Rump and it came well presented as per the photo. Every bite of the steak was juicy and totally mouth watering. I did not even have to pour the mushroom sauce on as it was that tasty! The sides of mushroom, onion rings, tomato and chips made great accompaniment and was perfectly cooked! Only comment is the chunky fries could do with a bit more flavour.<br/ <br/ After tasting the local fare around Broadbeach I wished I had just stayed and ate at my hotel! Well done team!
Little pricey if you aren't an accor member however, I thought the food was spot on and the service was Great. Probably<br/ not suitable for young children.
Distinguished rather than rustic, the Parisian skyline featured on a scrim above the wine buffet is the telltale food origin marker. Otherwise, you could be forgiven for mistaking the room’s retro sophistication for the dining room of a gentleman’s club, its tones of earthy brown sedate and discrete. It carries the hallmarks of the Sofitel’s sophistication, rather than the earthiness of a traditional French bistro. The cuisine at Bistro on 3 is ‘classic French’ with a modern Australian twist. It follows the trend of many French bistros in offering lighter fare and foods on trend for their health conscious clientele. In fairness, though, it could be said that Bistro on 3 has been inspired by French bistros, transcending their earthiness in the Sofitel’s inimitable way, to another level of dining: classic French cuisine for the sophisticated new world diner.
Maybe too quiet an atmosphere for some but we had amazing food and service and it was a Sunday night. The manager warned us before we took a table that there may be a delay due to a rush on the kitchen. We greatly appreciated her honesty and the choice to take on the wait. We are glad we did and appreciated even more that the wait was minimal. Our thanks and compliments especially to the chef. We could not fault our meals and the staff were delightful. One of the most delicious meals, a great night, and quality food. Thank you.
We ordered just entrees for dinner tonight. All delicious. Great service. Staff very attentive. Great selection of food. Well priced. We really enjoyed it!! The only criticism would be they need some soft lighting rather than the bright white lights. Would make it feel more comfortable and relaxing. But overall loved it. PS Google says the restaraunt is closed after 3pm. Not the case.. it is open for dinner also as we found out!
