The pictures might be uploading sideways, but that’s not important. I received absolutely outstanding service from the moment I walked in, sat down, and left. The butter chicken pizza was exceptional, and I really enjoyed the custom tequila and Jack on the rocks. I will definitely be coming back for more food, drinks, and more reviews!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant, and the service is satisfactory. The cocktails are quite enjoyable, while the food is just average. However, I wouldn't recommend the dessert; I tried the chocolate brownie, and it was truly disappointing—it tasted like it had been thawed from frozen.

This place truly deserves 5 stars every single day. Where else in Johannesburg can you find such a unique restaurant with fantastic food, outstanding service, and a bar that transforms into a lively nightclub after 9 PM on weekends? And yes, the music is amazing, especially on Friday nights! I've never had a dull moment here; the atmosphere is vibrant, and the crowd is made up of easy-going, fun-loving people who are a rare find these days. And I have to mention, their pizza is my absolute favorite!

Steamworks is a very cosy and interesting place to have a beer and burger. Even though it was very quiet, only one other table was occupied, the waiters ensured there was sufficient heaters in place to keep us warm.Service was also excellent and very friendly staff.Food wise, they didn't have any lettuce so some people couldn't order salads, but the burgers and beers were excellent!

Starters were great. We took two different ones to share and both were great. They brought the halloumi the right temperature that it was still stringy and muddle sauce was devine. Chips with my burger were a bit too salty for my liking. And the burger bun was thick on top so I took it off half way or I wouldn’t have finished my food. Very good food and even better drinks. I go there more for drinks. Cool design of the place and friendly staff. Not much to say.
