Maggie's Chinese

Awesome food, both sushi and Chinese. Chicken with honey sauce is very good but ask for extra sauce. The owner 'Maggie ' is on the ball and has never got an order wrong, it 's the only Chinese place in Weltevreden we order sushi from. Not a great place to eat at as there is no atmosphere but for takeaways it 's tops.

I consider myself a connoisseur of fine food, and this place definitely earns a spot on my list of great sushi restaurants. While it's not the type of place where I would choose to sit down for a meal, it serves its purpose well as a takeout spot. The sushi was incredibly fresh and surprisingly delicious. However, they could improve a bit on the presentation, as some of the pieces weren't as neat or tightly rolled as I would have liked. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the gentleman who works there is incredibly helpful—something I've rarely encountered in Asian restaurants. They also have a buy one get one free deal, which initially drew me in. It offers excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a quick bite to eat.

The sashimi was slightly too cold, but the rolls were fresh and flavorful. It's conveniently located next to a cozy tavern, so I was able to enjoy my necessary glass of Sauvignon Blanc as well.
