Flamingo Cafe Bird Gardens Monte Casino

My family loved it. It's just big enough to get your muscles working in the open air but small enough to not become monotonous. The animals are all well-kept and have the freedom to roam the main enclosure so you get a real sense for the animals as you would find them out in the wild. The gardens are beautiful, and my kids enjoyed the bird show. There's a lovely cafe at the entrance with a play area for the kids next to the flamingo enclosure, which really does make for a brilliant wild experience right on our doorstep.

Lovely place to visit and a day out well spent. Wide range of birds and other animals. The bird garden is quite big. Grounds are well kept and neat. They have live demonstrations at certain times. Well worth visiting

It's a beautiful clean place to go visit the birds. There is a small restaurant as you enter for some snacks and if you want a alcohol slashie... Very delicious. Lots to see and great place to bring your kids. R105 for adults R70 for kids age 1 to 12 years. If u have a monte card you get discount. They have a bride show at 1pm and another at 3pm that's about 15mins long

What a lovely destination for a JHB outing. Well-kept grounds, happy-looking animals, clean enclosures, a haven, really. Love the conservation work done for owls and the ground hornbill!

This was such an awesome treat which I highly recommend for anyone looking for an affordable morning or afternoon out in the sun. The gardens are pristinely kept and the birds and other animals are well looked after. Take a moment to appreciate natures beauty.
