We tried to go to a few... read more I went here on December 11th 2022 when I wanted to show my non-Asian friend some authentic Fuzhounese food in a setting without smokers. We tried to go to a few other restaurants and found there were a lot of guys smoking inside so we decided to search for Fuzhou food and stumbled upon this cute little restaurant. It is a tiny space, with only 4 round tables that can fit up to 6 max and a counter by the window for 4 people. I checked about the smoking situation and the woman working at the counter told me that there was no smoking allowed. I ordered a few of my favorite FJ dishes (drunken spare rib tips and taro, Fuzhou fish balls, fried thin vermicelli noodles) and of course had to get some dumplings, even if they aren't specifically an FJ dish. Everything was delicious and absurdly cheap. Even if the restaurant's decor and service are no-frills, it makes up for it in the flavors and the prices. This may be my new favorite FJ restaurant on 8th Ave (esp. because of the no smoking situation).
