Very mediocre restaurant. Me and my girlfriend both ordered the shakshuka for brunch, but you can see in the photos that this is not really shakshuka. It's a collection of vegetables with fried eggs put on top and way too much raw spinach. We were very disappointed. Maybe their seafood menu is more appealing. View all feedback.

We went for a quick dinner down the road by our apartment this evening, and The Mermaid Inn delivered an amazing experience for us! The atmosphere was great with nice music. They were buy but not noisy. The candles on the table created a warm and calm feeling. The oyster and clams were great! My husband loved the salmon and hush puppies. He said the salmon entree was unbelievably delicious with the salmon resting on top of a bed of vegetables: sweet potatoes, mushroom, greens, and so on. The se … – show
Excellent meal during happy hour, everything we tasted was very good. The fish tacos, cute and good, the grilled octopus delicious, the oysters fresh and well priced, just a pity they are not served with some Rye bread and butter like in France. Great service, attentive and friendly but not overbearing. The lively complimentary chocolate cream for dessert. Will definitely come again to enjoy.
