The Hungarian Pastry Shop

Somewhat authentic hungarian pastry shop. They don’t speak Hungarian though or they’d have noticed us doing so. Strudel (which is Austrian btw) was good and felt like home, caffee was sour but still good. There is usually a long queue, even outside the shop, so be prepared for about 5 mins of waiting time. You may need to wait in line for a few minutes before being able to get inside. I got a very sweet Hungarian coffee and took it to go, as every table was full. The restaurant has a lot of neat art on the walls and seems like a great breakfast spot for students of Columbia.

Food was awesome and a lot. Almost no wait even though they were busy.

Disappointed in the lack of vegan options. Many college students are trying to eat plant-based for the animals and for the planet, and businesses should realize this and be more inclusive.

Perfect. Delicious. Very authentic. If you are visiting Colombia university, you should make a stop there and enjoy a great pastry.
