The Dancer
Description
Tucked into the Lower East Side, this cozy, unpretentious bar offers warm lighting, a red booth and airy indoor/outdoor seating — a calm weekday hangout that livens up on weekends. A back booth fits larger groups.
Skilled bartenders craft excellent cocktails and rotating specials (mezcal and classic riffs), paired with small plates like nachos and ricotta-honey cheesecake. Prices are reasonable for Manhattan; service is friendly. Expect inventive drinks, a neighborhood vibe, and occasional sweetness in fruit-forward cocktails.

Feedback
This cozy bar features a booth in the back ideal for larger groups, and I think there’s also an outdoor area. It was quite busy on Saturday night, but the bartender was incredibly friendly, even though she was handling everything on her own. I found the apricot Negroni a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was a nice twist on the classic.
What a wonderful place for a cozy evening with a partner or a relaxing hangout with friends!
I absolutely adore this place! The cozy red booth seating and the warm lighting create such an inviting vibe. I enjoyed a gin cocktail that was crafted to perfection. It’s the ideal spot for a relaxing evening away from the city's hustle and bustle! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
