We had their omelette and avocado toast. You know that feeling you get after a great meal when you just “float”? This delivered on that. Impeccable service, gorgeous interior, and food made with precision and love. An absolute landmark of cuisine in Manhattan. View all feedback.
What Gabriela RW doesn't like about The Consulate:
The berry mocktail I ordered was ok. The French onion soup I ordered was ok, but it honestly needed more bread and cheese. I asked for more bread, and it took quite a while. Apparently they grill the bread. I would have appreciated getting quick toasted bread ASAP. View all feedback.

The servers were nice but it was a strange atmosphere, no customers and the food really wasn't great, I do much better even though I'm not a great cook
Atmosphere us good but very loud. Tables are close to each other
I love this place so much, everyone that works here is amazing especially Nancy and tori
Brunch… husbands eggs Benedict was fine, hard to mess that up except it needed salt and pepper that took awhile to get. I had the kale/shaved Brussel sprout salad with salmon. I asked for the Salmon to be on the rare side but it was well done and dry. I was expecting a large salad $21… but it was small. Our server was very busy and we usually had to ask twice for anything. The Crème Brûlée had a great crust and berries but was thin and runny inside.
