No thrills ambiance but a truly authentic Uzbeki cuisine and very hospitable service. Plov and shakarob salad (tomatoes with onions) are a must. And the portions are really big. Manty were juicy and delicious. I found beef samsa to be too greasy. If you want to take an elevator it is doors closer to 5th Avenue not on this exact address. View all feedback.

I recently ordered a chicken shish kabob from this restaurant, enticed by the online menu photo showcasing fresh onions and cilantro. Unfortunately, the dish I received lacked these ingredients, leading to a rather bland experience. This discrepancy between the menu's imagery and the actual meal was disappointing. Further, when inquiring about the missing onions and cilantro, the response from the restaurant was unsatisfactory. They seemed to dismiss the issue by blaming the photo rather than addressing the inconsistency (as if they didn't upload those photos). Moreover, their offer for me to return and pick up the missing ingredients was not a practical solution. I advise caution when ordering based on menu photos, as they do not accurately represent the dish you receive.
Have been to the restaurant and ordered delivery several times. Very flavorful food
Curious to find this restaurant located on the 2nd floor in this street full of jewelers. But it's worth it, because in this hyperactive and tiring neighborhood it's a real haven of peace. Beautiful room with fresco decoration, bay window overlooking the street. The welcome is charming. Among the many Slavic, Jewish and Caucasian specialties, we chose stuffed cabbage and Uzbek plov (rice pilaf with vegetables and beef). Very good and homemade. Next door, an American family was enjoying grilled lamb. Authentic cuisine and moderate prices for the neighborhood. An excellent surprise
Hidden shop up 2 flights of stairs. We got the kebab platter and it everything was very tasty.
