Lovely restaurant. My partner and I came by Friday night and all the tables were full since it's a rather small space. We got a call less than 30 minutes later and we're served very quickly! Highly reccomend the Gyoza and Tantan ramen, we both definitely plan to come back. View all feedback.
What Gabriella Fancello Cappelle doesn't like about Susuru Ramen:
Honestly wasn't a fan thought ramen was ok and the chashu had a strong seasoning that reminded me of deli ham. Broth was nice but surprisingly heavy. Not a fan of the karaage. The people are nice though View all feedback.
Delicious! Fun, tight little dining room, you can see the whole kitchen. Good vibe.
Small place but great food. Chicken and seafood broth are different from other places.
For me, this place is the best Japanese ramen spot in NYC. It's much more delicious than Ippudo, Naruto, Jin, or other famous ramen places in Manhattan. I've finally settled on Susuru Ramen. It's small and not so fancy, but that doesn't matter because it tastes the best! It's not too salty either!
I really liked everything here except the noodles. I wish they had straight ramen noodle choice. It's real Japanese and the sides are better than the ramen but ramen not bad. Don't be turned off by the plywood walls.
Tiny place, no sign outside that I could see, yet completely full. Unsurprisingly, all signs of delicious food! Susuru is maybe the best or at least among the best ramen I've had in NYC.
