Good Italian food, small venue, great service. I have celiac disease and have to eat gluten free. The gluten free pasta was good and did not make me sick, so they did cook it in a separate container. The venue is small, but cozy. It definitely has Covid vibes with the clear partitions still up. Maybe it helps with noise? There is a semi-outdoor covered area if you want to eat by the street. A late night comfort food truck spot run by Mateo, his wife and family, that hits the spot. They even have a TV to catch a game.Whether it's plato de fritura with pig ears or a Dominican Cubano sandwich the truck has a non-stop flow of customers into 4 am some nights.Had the DominiCubano which is layered with smoked pork chops, shredded pernil, a secret garlic based sauce, mozzarella, swiss cheese, cabbagge, tomatoes, onions, ketchup and a ketchup mayo comboThis was a delicious sando!Yaroa the Dominican casserole isFries topped with shredded beef and chicken, melted mozzarella, ketchup, mayo and cheddar cheese.. Yep its loaded! The fried plate of meats and pig ear is just deliciousness to look at. The pig ear had an interesting flavor. A little tart and chewy .Fried plate has pork, chicken chunks, (longaniza) dominican sasage , salami, fried cheese, steak, pig ears, smoked pork chops with sweet potatoes, fries or fried plantains,Dont skip out on the homemade flan cocho a flan cake topped with tres leche. Damn this was good! Took a slice home as well.
Great restaurant that we attended due to the positive TripAdvisor reviews. Food was great and the service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely go again if in the area.
The owner made me feel like family and definitely hooked me up on the tacos! Punto Final is the best!!
I’m sadly living in jersey but I’m from ny and I’ll easily come back here every night if I could
My wife and I had a 50th anniversary family celebration in New York and dined at Il Punto based on the recommendations of many TA readers. My recommendation is to believe the TA readers and try this fabulous restaurant. We were a group of 10, including two children, who had traveled from several Mid-Atlantic states. I had contacted the restaurant in advance to confirm several dietary preferences, and Antonio (GM) assured me that they would accommodate us. Our table was ready when we arrived, the service was excellent and the food was superb. Everyone was raving about the appetizers and their menu choices throughout the weekend. Thanks very much to Antonio and his staff for a wonderful start to our celebratory weekend.
