We traveled from Florida to see our son who moved to NY in March! He fell in love with Mark Joseph’s and wanted to take us there. The atmosphere was lovely. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and calamari appetizer. The Waiter stated that you only get 3 shrimp so we ordered the calamari, the shrimp were ginormous! What B L doesn't like about Markjoseph Steakhouse:
The food was delicious, the service was incredibly slow. No possible excuse for that as the restuarant was virtually empty. Although there was a restaurant week/month menu on their website, they advised that they were no longer participating in restuarant week/month. View all feedback.
Lobster and oysters were good but clams were not fresh. Steak was good but.. I'll say that I've made better dry age steaks at home.
Definitely overrated and over priced. The steak was flavorless and overly expensive for what you get

One of the best Steak Houses Downtown. Impeccable service and their Tomahawk is one of the best I’ve ever had, their mash potatoes are great and creamy as well.
Steak was not so soft and above all one of staffs was quite rude. I won't go there again
