Solid place, my asian dad makes me go here. I mostly eat Subway anyway. But good chinese food.
This is a local authentic Chinese restaurant. I like that this place had a special lunch menu that includes an entree with rice and choice of soup or soda. I was feeling something fried so I went with common Chinese dish: salt and pepper fried pork chops. The pork chop was fried to a nice golden color. The green pepper and fried onions complimented the crispy texture of the chops. With each bite of pork chop, I would have a scoop of rice so the pork chop wasn't just salty. And the fried onions and pepper were really good over rice. Definitely a choice for lunch.
This is a lunch/dinner boxed restaurant. You can chose from a buffet of several dishes, with rice either with 3 dishes for $6 or 4 dishes for 1 dollar more. The dishes taste good especially the porks feet. They have catering service also. The counter person speaks English.
This restaurant is known for serving traditional Wenzhou street food. The stewed rib noodles are authentic and delicious, with tender meat that practically melts in your mouth. The broth has a hint of vinegar and pickled vegetables for a nice contrast, and the Wenzhounese rice noodles are absolutely divine. And the best part? It's all for under $10 per bowl! My family loves coming here to stock up on cold dishes like deboned pickled chicken feet, marinated jellyfish cucumber salad, Wenzhounese classic fishcake, spice beef offal, and smoked quail. They are busiest in the mornings and offer a 3 dish 1 soup special from 11am to 3pm. If you're feeling adventurous, give it a try, or just stick to the classic noodle soup.
