My friend and I went to this restaurant on Sunday. Admittedly, I was looking for a mor casual restaurant. But the atmosphere and the views are phenomenal. I ordered the fried snapper filet. My friend, who happens to be a chef at Breuklyn Tequilla, in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn #ChefAustrieTwin), ordered the chicken kebab. When our food arrived, my fried snapper filet looked like fried tilapia filet. And it tasted like fried tilapia filet. When we asked the waiter why they gave me tilapia instead of snapper, he replied stating that the restaurant did not have tilapia. Don't **** on me and call it rain. Whether whole or filet, snapper and tilapia are two different fish and anyone can tell the difference. Because of this experience, I do not recommend this restaurant who enjoy eating fish.
Superb seafood and finally a place to sit for a quiet lunch. The only flaw: intolerances and dietary needs are not taken into much consideration. I asked for the garlic to be removed from the green beans, but it was not possible. Otherwise, very friendly staff and the waitress even stopped for a pleasant chat. Recommended for those who can't stand fast food anymore!
The only seafood restaurant I go to (and trust) in Brooklyn. All the food is amazing and even the service is top tier. It can be very busy on holidays but for good reason. The Saint Peter’s fish with garlic dressing on the side is my go to with some kunefe to end the meal. I couldn’t recommend them enough and the view they have of the Coney Island amusement park couldn’t be any better. Can’t wait to go when the fireworks start this summer.
