We drove over an hour (w... read more Made a reservation for a Sunday lunch for 3pm a month in advance through Resy. Morning of the reservation, I confirmed it through Resy. We drove over an hour (we live in NJ), to arrive to the restaurant closed and locked (bike lock on the door) at 2:50pm. We called several times no answer. I DMed through Instagram, which I had previously contacted them by, no answer. I even attempted to text the phone number of the restaurant, as the voicemail option sounded like it could be a cell phone no answer (but to be fair it could be a landline only). I emailed Resy regarding this situation, and they informed me the restaurants have sole control over their reservation system. Thus, it wasn't like Resy decided to offer reservations in off hours on their own. Plus, prior contact with the restaurant on Instagram had confirmed that they do lunch on Sundays 12pm 3:30pm. Our group was incredible disappointed as we were all looking forward to having omakase and also starving. Incredibly unprofessional of Junsui Omakase!

They didn’t have their liquor license yet when we went, so we grabbed a bottle of wine from the wine store across the street. Which of course brings the price down a bit. Not sure when they’re getting that. Food was delicious.

He t... read more Amazing experience both food and service wise! Each course was meticulously crafted by the chef and tasted so good. The chef on Wednesday’s is incredible!! He talked a lot about the different types of food he was preparing and where he gets his inspiration from. The staff and owner were also super nice and greeted us with so much warmth and attention. This omakase gem is an absolute must visit!
