We are from out of town but will definately come back here next time we are in town. Very reasonable prices and huge portions. Best meal I have has in Lake Placid in 3 days

Our view of the sunset over the lake was unreal and I'd recommend it for the gorgeous scenery alone! The food was great too, and it ended up being the perfect spot for a nice but casual dinner for a family with a little one and not much advanced preparation..I don't even think we had reservations, and we were able to get in on a weekend. Would be happy to return.

Food portions are pretty huge: we split a spinach salad and a Mediterranean pizza. That was plenty for us, although we did see a lot of folks eating an entire pizza by themselves. The pizza had a very nice crust, but the toppings (mushrooms, onions, olives) were all raw. Maybe that's a thing. I like my veggies cooked, so the pizza didn't wow me. The view from the deck was nice, and having the option for outdoors dining is great (yes, Covid is still a thing, although you wouldn't know it to look at the throngs of mask-less folks eating indoors). Some reviewers on Yelp rave about the pizza here. Maybe I'm jaded (or grew up near NYC where the pizza is uniformly great), so I thought it was just okay. But the service could not have been friendlier, and the view was lovely, so we had a good dinner experience.
