Fantastic classic NY restaurant for when that’s your thing. The beef Wellington was delicious and the truffle sauce that accompanied it was perfect. The pastry didn’t stick to the meat very well as it should, but it was still delicious. My main gripe is that all of the red wines by the glass are served room temp, which in summer means they are a bit warm. View all feedback.
What Andrej Dovciak doesn't like about Harry's:
Bartender was condescending and rude, refused to a serve a member of our group because of her foreign id and then made more rude remarks to our face while encouraging us to “go somewhere else.” The only reason we were at the bar to begin with was because we were forced to wait 30 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation. Best food and best service in New York city. They make everybody feel like royalty. Service is top notch. Food is amazing!
It had a great atmosphere and was the perfect place for a business lunch. My friend ordered the steak well-done and I ordered the medium-rare, but it came out the other way around, so I had a hard time eating the tough steak. I want to try various menus.
Classy, dark, romantic. Food is great, service outstanding. Nice wine selection. I had the blackened swordfish, Caesar salad, creme brulee, and Sancerre wine. Caesar salad made at the table. Grasshopper after dinner drink was delicious. Prices are reasonable for the area and product. Nice place for a second date! Vegetarian options: They have them. I don't care for them, so I didn't spend too much time looking at them. Dietary restrictions: Allergen warnings listed. I don't have any restrictions, so I didn't spend too much time delving into this, either.
