Extremely Rude Host! We had a Sunday brunch reservation and the host (a bald gentleman with a beard) seated us at a small, wobbly, table behind the host stand, that had intense direct sunlight beaming in our faces. It's busy, so we understand that seating isn't always ideal, but we decided to ask the host if there was another table available due to the intense sunlight. Gertie is the absolute best brunch in Williamsburg, the food is so good. Really fun but chill vibe. The staff is always fabulous, Zack especially is a delight.
Gertie is by far in my top 5 in all of NYC! Come for the food but must say, waiter Zac’s scrumptious attitude is what brings me in many times a week and keeps me coming
