Denino's Greenwich Village

Awesome Italian restaurant in the village there are many of them in the village, but this one is really good. Indoor and outdoor seating. Me and my family ate dinner outside in their outdoor seating area on December 29th, which is heated, and they kept it warm enough for everyone to enjoy their meal. I dined here at the end of September for pizza and let me day that I really liked the salsa, but there was something strange in the dough, like if it was old, or it had contact with some dirty cleaning water. With some many places I have visited this is something I had never experienced specifically for pizza but have for other food. It’s exactly the smell of a mop bucket with dirty water from a few days before. I might try it again, as I have the feeling that it might have been a one time thing … – show

Made a reservation for a table indoors, and waited 25 minutes because the group at our reserved table would not leave and we were continuously told that it would be ready in a couple minutes. We ended up being seated outdoors, which was not ideal. No effort to make amends for our time spent waiting. 2 stars because the food was good, but disappointed with the quality of service.

5 stars hands down. We walked past the night before and the dinner plates looked so delicious we had to try it for ourselves. Little did we know that we needed reservations but they were so accommodating and found us a seat within the hour. Their food was delicious and well appointed. Even came out and saying happy birthday and treated my way to a piece of tiramisu. Thanks guys!! You made our night!!
