Had a wonderful micro wedding at Deity. The venue is beautiful, the food was incredible and most importantly the staff was a joy to work with. Planning a wedding is daunting, and they made it so easy. Aside from the cake, the photographer and the officiant, they took care of EVERYTHING making it a wonderful stress-free experience. Our wedding guests were so impressed and had a blast. I will definitely be recommending Deity to those in need of an event space in NYC.

We held our daughter's Bat Mitzvah at Deity and can't say enough wonderful things about Anna, Cat, and the entire Deity staff. Planning a big event with lots of moving parts can be stressful, but they made everything so easy and did everything they could to make my daughter's dream night come true. They were efficient, kind, responsive, reliable, easy going, fun ... everything you could ask for when planning an event. Our guests raved about the food and we loved the overall setup and how the evening flowed through the various spaces. We also appreciated not having to deal with so many outside vendors as Deity takes care of so many details, and, for things outside of Deity's scope, they had great recommendations and suggestions for vendors. Overall, an excellent experience, from the planning process through the actual event!

Amazing!!!!! We had our wedding at Deity on June 21, 2024. We are not exaggerating when we say it exceeded our wildest dreams. We chose Deity because we wanted a very Brooklyn vibe to our whole day, and you just can’t beat this space: the exposed brick, the lighting, the vintage feel of the bridal suite, the speakeasy-like atmosphere of the cellar, and the gorgeous building were exactly what we wanted. And then we met the staff. We could write a book about the people who work and run Deity; they made our day. Anna and Caio radiate love of love, and they are clearly committed to making weddings magical. We were so calm on the day of our wedding thanks to them. Every single person on the staff was thoughtful, personable, kind, and professional. The guests raved about the staff, the food (the food!!! Omg delicious! , the space, the DJ (Ben was awesome! , and the bartenders. Our wedding felt seamless and we actually got to enjoy every moment. We’d say the bridal suite is a must; it’s gorgeous and it added so much to the day to get ready there and have a first look. We faced a heat wave, so we barely used the rooftop, but it was lovely to go up there for photos. We did a tasting of the food beforehand and were so impressed, and it tasted even better day-of. The chef also surprised us with an epic cheese and fruit platter in addition to the appetizers during cocktail hour, and our guests loved it. Anna, the day-of coordinator, and Anastasia both took really good care of us. They built in moments for us to have alone time, helped us with our clothes and belongings, and kept everything moving smoothly. The pricing, as advertised, is transparent and there are no hidden fees. It was a really affordable wedding for New York and for us, and we appreciated that we were able to budget for it from the start with no surprises. We’d get married here 100 more times if we could, it was that good! Thank you, Deity, for an unforgettable experience. You are all in our hearts forever.

We had a wonderful experience at Deity for our wedding. They were very organized, had great recommendations for the handful of external vendors we used, and were professional throughout our interaction. The space worked great for our 80 person wedding. There was plenty of space for our guests and we heard raving reviews about the food cocktails. Additionally, with my mother being in a wheelchair, they were extremely accommodating and had the necessary facilities to help her navigate the event without any issues. Overall, guests loved the intimate feeling of the space, great food, great dj, great bar, everything. Would recommend if you're considering a wedding in Brooklyn!

Just had a great event at Deity. Anna, our liason, was fantastic and ran the event like a total pro. The food is much improved from years past and was delicious. Very pleased overall and would certainly host another event there. My one suggestion would be to put a mat or other sticky material on the stone stairs.
