Calyer - Broad Channel
Calyer
Description
A neighborhood go-to for breakfast and lunch, this café excels with a wide sandwich lineup, healthy salads, twice-fried crispy fries and occasional pop-up pizza nights. Coffee is a standout—excellent cappuccinos and oat‑milk lattes—backed by a well-stocked fridge of juices, teas and kombucha.
Staff are friendly and attentive, and the cozy seating makes it ideal for solo or casual meals. Expect some price and consistency issues on a few dishes and a reliance on single-use packaging; beverage and pastry selections can be limited.

It's not exactly a traditional pizza restaurant, but it certainly is one! The pizza we had was fantastic, and we'll definitely be returning. They have a pop-up pizza event on Fridays, so make sure to check it out! I’d rate it an 8.7/10 - very good. Just a heads up, they don’t serve Coors beer, in case you were curious.
Wow, the food lives up to the reviews—definitely a five-star experience! I had the chorizo breakfast sandwich with guacamole for $9.50, and it was incredibly delicious. The coffee is great as well!
The breakfast sandwiches are fantastic and the service is excellent; I just wish there were more seating available.
Very friendly staff! They take their time and give recommendations without making you feel rushed or like your questions are an annoyance. I got an iced chai latte (good size and good price) and the pulled pork sandwich. The sandwich was delicious and very hearty. They have a ton of good sandwich options so I’m excited to try more.
