The cake is delicious if the cake was made the same day to eat. It gets hard after few days

I love this place and their Dominican cakes...it's the real deal here. However because of Covid store hours changed and it doesn't seem to be going back to normal again. I use to be able to get off my midnight shift and get my cake fix plus breakfast here. Now they open so late in the morning I don't ever get a chance to go by anymore. That's my only complaint STORE HOURS. Please change it because New Yorker move around the city early.

Called to ask about pricing for a hypothetical cake to see my options and the lady was very rude right away.

I've been going here for years. Always loved their cakes. As of late, although their cakes are delicious, the on-the-go cakes have gotten smaller and prices are higher, even for ordered cakes.

My family had a cake order placed for my mothers birthday, with expectations that it would be good. This bakery has always been tried and true when it comes to Dominican cakes. We’ve traditionally gotten our cakes here for YEARS. The cake tasted awful to say the least. The frosting/supiro the only palatable part of it. None of the guests wanted to eat anymore after their first bite. It was absolutely devastating. Not sure what happened since I had passed by on the same day of pick up and purchased a slice of their cake with caramel filling and that was perfectly fine. So sad, that ordering such a large cake that costs so much turned out so bad.
