Another one of those places that I always visit. The food is actually very good. The bar tender is one of my favourites in NYC as not only is he polite and friendly, but also makes the best margarita! I've seen many shows here and particularly enjoy the open mic nights where you get to see many performers in one night. View all feedback.
What Erica C doesn't like about Birdland Jazz Club:
I usually only write 5 stars reviews, but I had to leave this one because I wasn’t treated fairly. I visited with two of my friends on 1/13. For 8:30pm appointment, we got there at 7:30 since the sits are “first come first serve.” Around 8:10pm, one woman asked my group to move, very passive aggressively, so that she can sit with five of her friends. The space she chose only could fit 3—4 people at max even if I move... View all feedback.
Had a wonderful time. The live mysic is what makes it. Unfortunately, there were russian foreigners who were being loud and recording in front of the rest of the crowd. I dont blame the venue, just rude guests. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I had a key lime pie cocktail unfortunately they didn't use midori liquor. The drink suffered because of it.
Very nice place to escape the hustle and bustle of the street. I thought it was a little pricey but the atmosphere didn't disappoint. And The Afro Latin Jazz Ensemble was beautiful ️ We got there not long before closing and had just enough time for a bottle of champagne. I'm sure the food is amazing!
Great place for dinner, drinks, and live jazz music. Be aware that there is a $30 cover per person and drinks are pretty average with a limited wine selection.

A must if you lobe jazz. Lots of history and good bands
