Becco - Broad Channel

Becco is always great and the service is probably amongst the very best in the City. On our last visit, 7/11/24, my wife's salmon was dry and tasteless and my Calve's liver was over cooked and also dry. The manager recommended a white wine for me which I loved. I'm thinking goi only with the specials. LDC

The food was excellent and the portions were large. Our reservation was at 6:30 and we were 10 minutes late. Even so, we were in and out in time to make it to our show at 8. Efficient service and excellent location.

Always an excellent experience at any restaurant of this group but Becco brings me back time and again. It's charming with authentic design touches everywhere, the attention to details is wonderful. The thoughtfully crafted menu features the endless pasta servings and I highly recommend it for first time guests. You'll be amazed. I have to really be tempted by something to make me not order the fegato which brings me back to my childhood and mom's kitchen. But the fish options, the chicken, the many specials, you can make yourself crazy. Do have dessert- if you can fit it!

This was my second visit to Becco and I will visit again. My friend and I arrived before our reservation time and enjoyed a drink at the bar. The bartender was helpful and friendly. Once we were seated at our table our waiter told us about our he daily specials. Our entrees arrived quickly and we enjoyed our meals. We also had desserts which were delicious.

Such a wonderful dining experience. My reservation was for 8:00, so it was perhaps better than times before a show, where it's more crowded and service is understandably a bit slower. Every item, from the bread and olives on the table, to the Sinfonia di paste, to the dessert, was absolute perfection. Considering the options in the neighborhood and the quality, Becco is the absolute best restaurant in the Theater District.
