Short version: come visit only once, and order the wheel cheese pasta. I last visited a couple years ago and it was 5/5 then. This time (Nov 2022): — burrata was excellent. What NY P doesn't like about Basta Pasta:
This is an excellent place but Not like it used to be. I wish them well and wonder if this can possibly be the same chef and owners of a decade ago. I seriously doubt it and will still come and eat but please fix the food buddy. Pricing has increased but that is not a big deal. The bread is lame. Need to get good bread and butter. Not everyone likes olive oil. C'mon guys! View all feedback.
Had the seafood pasta very good. Tiramisu phenom. A bit stuffy in summer inside.

Cocktails were decent and the wine was good. Service was polite and friendly. For my taste, the actual pasta was lacking in something. I had the fusilli with parmigiano and prosciutto.
