The bread here is surprisingly good. It has texture and a nice bite to it. I get their pork floss roll whenever they have it in stock. They also have a square marshmallow snack thats very good. The black sesame mochi ball and taro bun are tasty as well. I've only been in the evenings and they always have a buy 3 get 4th free special. Will try their cake next time i'm in the area! What Fanny Zheng doesn't like about Bake Culture:
Something I find really weird was a staff carrying a backpack around. May I ask why backpack? The other staff seems fine with the backpack but wouldn’t this cause a hazard?Really really great bread. Frequent customer of this bakery and just wanna say top tier bread and cakesHorrible horrible drinks. First time I ever bought one of their drinks. There are no boba in the strawberry “bubble tea” AND the only ingredients... View all feedback.
Convenient bakery located next to inside a Chinese grocery store New Age 興旺超市)。I especially like that each bread is individually sealed. It stays soft and moist for at least 2-3 days. Great variety of bread to choose from. Lately when I get there late 7:30 pm closes at 8 pm), it's buy 3 get one free. Staff said the promotion changes depends on how many bread left. Recently I saw a new sign for Mon and Thur only buy one get one 50% off. It says summer cake special offer. I wonder if it applies to cake only. One star deducted due to inconsistency of bread filling. Two red bean bread: one is filled with red bean heavily while the other is totally opposite. You can just feel the weight difference in two bread.
Bake culture has very soft and moist cakes! I like bringing them to special events, being that they're not too big and they provide you a cute birthday sign in addition to candles. Cakes I've tried and recommend are the matcha and the blueberry cake. The sponge is very light and makes you feel less guilty about having more! I sometimes get their egg tarts here but usually skip on the other pastries for myself. I've tried a few their pineapple Bao, the taro bread, all being a little on the pricier side and just okay.
Sent my husband in here to pick out three pastries for the buy 2 get one free deal. The shopkeepers tricked him into buying like 10 pastries by making it seem like they were all free (they kept telling him to get more as if they were part of the deal). We ended up with $30 worth of pastries, all of which are dry and tasteless. Total waste of money.
Small bakery with limited variety of pastries. The Portuguese egg tarts are great.
Very good bakery with baking done on the premises. Cakes are great. Very innovative with their pastries. I love the staff. Never a disappointment.
