**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** Nestled in a charming neighborhood, this Italian restaurant offers a blend of exceptional and disappointing experiences. While standout dishes and attentive staff have garnered praise, recent visits reveal inconsistencies in food quality and service. Diners have encountered delays, unappetizing menu items, and some rude interactions, particularly during busy times. Yet, a handful of guests celebrate the cozy atmosphere, delectable flavors, and friendly service. With alternatives nearby, this restaurant may need to elevate its offerings and ensure a more consistent dining experience to reclaim its status as a favorite among locals.
They have a BYOB policy on Wednesdays and Thursdays! The service is exceptional and the food is delicious. If you visit during the pandemic, you might want to bring your own blanket since their outdoor setup ensures good airflow, but the heaters might not keep you warm enough on chilly days. I've truly fallen in love with their outstanding service and tasty dishes. I plan to become a regular here, especially as a wine lover.
The food is consistently delicious. I highly recommend the gnocchi or the 'beggar's purse.'
We had a fantastic experience despite a sudden storm that nearly disrupted our meal since we were seated outside. The owner and the waitstaff were incredibly attentive, finding ways to keep us dry until the storm passed. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding!
The food is fine; standard red sauce Italian. The waiter was really nice too. I asked if they could do chicken parm and he said of course; asked if it came with pasta and he said yes for extra.no problem. Figured it would come to 30ish dollars or so total. Nope. Charged me 33 dollars for 1 piece of chicken parm and another 15 for a small bowl of pasta, so $48 dollars total. There are about 75 other generic Italian places in a 5 block radius that all have chicken parm and pasta for about 30 total. Shame because I actually liked this place but feel like they stole from me. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
