A small, hazy pub with lazy service - that's how it seemed to me at the time. However, during my time in Brno, I fell in love with Kamenna and realized that it is simply a different world that needs to be understood and loved. It is essentially a small village in the middle of the city. The people who live there know each other and are one big family. You can meet a "native" who milks goats in Bityska and also works on roofs, or an older couple who loves mushroom picking. There are pictures of regular customers hanging in the pub, an interesting mosaic in the bathroom, retro ashtrays with ceramic animals at the bar, and a piano in the back. In the summer, there is a garden in operation. They serve the best Kozel beer and you can also enjoy a luxurious and unconventional pickled hermelin with peanuts. Various cultural events are held in the Kamenna colony from time to time. The May Day celebration, where you can taste countless homemade treats, listen to dulcimer music, and meet a man with a blooming branch who is willing to kiss all the single women :D, the traditional Kamenna Open festival which is currently taking place and is full of music and theater, and many more. I honestly love Kamenna and wish to live there someday. In a little house with a garden, beyond the woods, a stone's throw away, is the small, hazy, and best pub under the sun.
