Golden Nepal - Brnenec

The chicken curry is fantastic, the fish curry is even better on certain days. The lunch menus are also great, especially the chicken korma. This place definitely gets a thumbs up from me!

We visited Golden Nepal for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the nice space and friendly service. I ordered the Chicken mango thali with garlic naan and it was truly excellent. The price is fair for the portion and is almost the same as in other restaurants serving Indian cuisine. My partner had the chicken phaal and for a moment it seemed like he was about to breathe fire, it is really very spicy, so be careful with that.

We were invited here to celebrate a birthday. The style of cuisine is not my cup of tea, I had trouble choosing from the menu, everything seemed the same. In the end, the choice of chicken with spinach was good for me, and others were satisfied with their dishes and their spiciness. I didn't like the rice much, but the pancakes were good. I also had the opportunity to taste the lentil soup, which was excellent, but the chicken broth was a disaster. Unfortunately, the service was tragic. The restaurant has nice premises and overall our evening was successful, so if you like this type of cuisine and you can overlook the service, I can recommend it.

Mám to za rohem a každý den jsem sledoval vtipnou ceduli se zajímavými vzkazy psanými v angličtině, kterou se snažil nalákat mladík, zde obsluhující na lahodné jídlo. Naštěstí to nebyly plané sliby. Přišly jsme do prázdného podniku, dohromady obsluha a kuchyň měla více lidí a to hned třikrát, oproti počtu zákazníků. Objednali jsme si, napůl česky a napůl anglicky, když bylo vidět, že zvládáme obojí, ale přitom jsme k tomu nebyli nijak nuceni. Po kratší chvíli došlo však k změně jídla, protože mleté maso nebylo zrovna v spíži a tedy, museli jsme si vybrat znova. Za nastalou komplikaci jsme dostali darem papadum za mě zatím nejlepší přístup a zkušenost v indické restauraci v Brně . Jídlo jsme si vybrali schválně tak, abychom otestovali zručnost, po záměně jsme se tedy soustředili na detaily v jídlech, které mají být ihned poznat. Chicken jalfrezi, bylo řádně cítit cibulí, paprikou a kořením, jehněčí masala byla taky super, koření vévodilo, ale trochu ji strhlo tuhé maso některé kousky . Rýže byla vynikajícím způsobem uvařená. Dezerty, různé kuličky v různých kapalinách sirup vs ochucené mléko byly taky dobré, ale to není moc ukázkou vlastní restaurace. Nabídnutý třetí dezert na ochutnání byl božský a zapomněl jsem se zeptat něco jako cukrová vata s kardamomem . Pivo bylo taky dobré, rozhodně musíme zajít častěji, vzhledem k tomu, jak blízko to mám, tak určitě záhy a tentokrát i s fotem. Snad nezklamou : Obsluha , Jídlo , Pití , Cena , Prostředí
