this place is a hidden shade for London food. run from the former Nobu cook, the quality and taste of sushi, comparable to a high-end restaurant. but it is affordable and informal. noriko is a friendly lady who spent time demonstrating the art of sushi while we have some fantastic sake on the small counter. I would recommend Sakya for anyone interested in authentic and modern Japanese foods. View all feedback.

This place is over exquisite. we have been here since we moved to brixton 6 months ago and eating has always been excellent since the first time, we have tried her chicken catsu curry. our 3 years old (the crazy picky eater) just adooores their food. And the beautiful lady who owns the place always cuts the bun into smaller pieces for him because he likes it so. this place deserves all stars and more.
I wanted to visit this place a whole place and get him down tonight. great sushi and definitiw the visit worth, also beautiful host and great presentation of eating. can not wait to try again more elements from the menu, thanks for the team
By far the best sushi we have had and amazing to watch it being made so beautifully right in front of you. The sake prosecco is well worth trying. We chatted to Nori the chef and she is lovely too.
Sakeya is a charming little standing sushi bar located in Pop Brixton, and it's a great spot to enjoy freshly made dishes such as dragon rolls (£12), smoked salmon salad (£4), and ceviche (£4). Watching the chefs prepare the food right before your eyes in the cozy but well-equipped kitchen is truly a delightful experience.
