It was just great. small cozy typical French. strong female patronin, honest good cooking, fish, all fresh and perfectly prepared. the best wines offer appropriate prices. friendly and open atmosphere. we had a great time!

We have booked a table at chez francis that has read an excellent review of the restaurant in the sunday times. the experience was as good as the review! the decoration is the one of a traditional French brassiere, but with commentaries and pictures thrown over the walls and deck of remarkable diners. it is a family-run affair madame, which is charming in front of the house and her man and son do the kitchen. we had one of the three course set menus; the food was delicious and the quail and lentil veloute starter was a highlight. we will definitely return.

We had a very good time in chez francis. the meal was perfect and the staff was very friendly.
