Le Cinq - Brive-la-Gaillarde

Visited with two older teenagers and myself. Ok I accept it is essentiallya pizzeria but there were other things on the menu when we visited in August. However, the main waiter was entirely inflexible with any of our requests. These were primarily to enable myself, a non meating eating individual who is gluten free to be able to at least have something. He couldn't swap anything on the menu, he couldn't even put together a simple salad it was as though everything had been popped over by Brakes from England. Pizza was average according to my children. Find somewhere else next time.

My partner and I wanted Italian for dinner and after wondering past a few places we discovered Le cinq. It was a Thursday evening and very quiet in Brive we were one of two customers here but it was 9pm. I had a carbonara which was freshly made and very tasty and my partner ordered a Calzone which was also freshly made and looked delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant for a tasty Italian meal it was also very good value and not over priced

This restaurant proved to be a great find in Brive,and the warm welcome was followed by a wonderful meal cooked superbly and at terrific value. My partner and I had totally different meals and she,like myself were both raving about our culinary experience. And as if it could have been improved by anything ,it had the best background music ever. A very pleasant overnight stay in Brive was almost entirely due to this restaurant .

Finding a restaurant that works for a family group with three teenagers and three vegetarians can be surprisingly tough in this part of France unless they are happy to have a plate of vegetables, so pizza ends up a frequent option. Le Cinq did not disappoint, proprietor was friendly and although at the end of the season there were quiet a few other diners. Pizzas were tasty and the accompanying salad bruchetta were beautiful, service relaxed but still attentive, must have been good as we are thinking of going again!

La déco est moderne malgré une salle relativement petite, l'accueil est sympathique, et serviable.la carte est complète sans plus, pizza, plats du jour, viandes, entrée...les pizzas sont bonnes, dans la moyenne, manque un peu de garniture, la pate est croustillante.les desserts sont bons égalementles prix sont dans la moyenneune bonne adresse pour manger une pizza proche du centre ville
