What User doesn't like about Hope And Anchor:
Sunday dinner was a good standard. like the fact that dogs are welcome in the inner. personal friendly. we sat outside in the garden large room, but could look with a spruce-up furniture stormy and garden was tired. View all feedback.
We arrived at 6, the time our table was booked , no one was interested in giving us any sort of service . We found our table and after waiting at the bar for 15mins we asked if we were going to be served drinks and was told we were stood in the wrong place, when our food arrived we had to eat it with 3 dogs belonging to the pub staring at us waiting for food. The barman was more interested in when we were leaving. We did not get any service what so ever apart from our food being bought out and we had to go to the bar to order anything . Standard I suppose for a low rate pub but our experience did not reflect our £200 bill. Not a good choice for what was my birthday meal
Great pub for a tipple after the work. very recommend annas espresso martinis. beyond duty. five well-awaited stars.
Good selection of zider, good food and a beautiful atmosphere. a lot of space outside.
Lovely little pub, great beer prices and the food's always been decent when I've eaten here : Big fan of the outdoor garden too!
This is a friendly pub which is currently just making the most of its lovely multilayered back garden for Covid safe drinking. I tried the local Somerset cider, Truth is Light, very good, and I believe their new microbrewery beer will also be appearing soon. The three course Indian feast on a Wednesday looked very appetising too, will return for that
