Visits here in October 2021z my favorite cocktail place in bristol could not recommend visiting here more. it was just a stop as we explored, but super glad we came in. all employees were so welcoming and informatiw (and super friendly) we sat at the bar and learned more about the inspiration behind some of the cocktails and recipes. would like to go back when they have new menus, I looked up the Sunday roast as the people have ordered that looked mouthwater and filling! we had a few bar snacks croquettes and cheese and were very satisfied with our selection next to the cocktails!
The atmosphere was great and the service was really good. the staff was polite and welcoming, but our food took about 45 minutes to come and the meat was a little colder than we hoped. everything was delicious and we would like to come back! excellent and unique Spanish tapas version of a roast!
Tasty tapas and a kerbe above in terms of quality. we went on a busy Saturday night and the service was good. the olive oil ice cream was also an interesting but more pleasant way to finish the meal.
Beautiful seasonal menu, I never had a boring meal in bar44. in any case recommend. cocktails are also delicious
I had an hour or two to kill whilst waiting for my wife at the Nuffield round the corner and what better place than a tapas bar! I had a 0% beer (which still had that same weird taste when they launched in the 90's, which was disappointing) and some olives. Later we had the Padron peppers, crispy Hake, patatas bravas and a chicken dish. All were excellent. A very pleasant time indeed.
