While many patrons rave about the friendly staff and range of ales, mixed reviews highlight concerns such as cold dishes and inadequate customer service. Some experiences marred by theft and lack of follow-up have raised eyebrows. Despite these pitfalls, the inviting decor and cozy outdoor seating create a welcoming vibe. With lively events like quiz nights and an impressive food lineup, including Japanese street food, it remains a go-to spot for casual dining and drinks, though caution is advised.
I had the frying bells of pork and the woman had the frying beef and a glass white wine, and as I did not drink I had a pint glass of orangenquash. everything was excellent.
This place should not be on opentable. it is not a restaurant, but a loud pub. there were no specializations and no gluten-free options as they claim. we had to wait at the bar to order food and then again, when the disgusting food came, they would not come to the table, even if the food was cold. the chips were cold and greasy and unusable. the worst meal I had in 3 weeks in dublin london and bristol.
Great Sunday Roast and well worth a visit. Tried the Trinity (Pork Belly, Beef and Chicken) all of which were great. Slight confusion with the booking but a table was found for us in the outside tented area. Not quite so lively in the tent in comparison to the pub itself, and slightly cold despite there being heaters, but we still enjoyed our visit. We would definitely recommend this pub for Sunday Lunch and Real Ale; we will be back.
Helpful staff. Good choice of real ale that is well kept and good service and food for our Sunday lunch.
GREAT FOOD , HAD A GREAT BIRTHDAY FOR FAMILY SUNDAY LUNCH
