Some experiences were negative, including poor service and intimidating behavior towards women. However, other customers found the staff friendly and welcoming, with quick service and good value for money. The atmosphere was described as lively but in need of a clean and revamp. Overall, some patrons enjoyed the affordable options for beer and food, while others had mixed experiences. The restaurant was praised for wheelchair accessibility and reasonable prices, but some incidents raised concerns about safety and service quality.
We come to this pub for a family meal for my brothers birthday. To start off we thought it was a good place but no salt to put on your food. Food was not even cooked in the middle
Two curries were ordered and arrived quickly. Husbands curry was mainly cold served with poppadoms which were so stale you could almost bend them in half!!! We should have sent it all back in hindsight. I know Wetherspoons is not expensive but money is money.
This restaurant is a wonderful option for dining and enjoying drinks. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has good accessibility for wheelchairs, including a wheelchair accessible restroom.
I was greeted and served by a lively wide smiling lady called Lauren who made sure that I always had a drink in my hand and my table was swiftly cleaned. Exceptional experience 10/10
Food was shocking, and I never received the beer I ordered. When there's so much choice on North Street I would head somewhere else. Should have known better really.
