While some dishes, like the homemade sausage rolls, receive high praise, others, such as the cauliflower cheese, leave diners wanting more. Service can be hit-or-miss; experiences range from friendly and accommodating to frustratingly rude. Busy nights may lead to delays in food delivery and billing issues. Despite these inconsistencies, the vibrant atmosphere and delicious flavors, especially the generously portioned mains and dessert options, suggest that many patrons would gladly return for another visit.
It's really easy, it's sausage and mash. It's also really good! There are other options on the menu, but that would be rather missing the point. The pigs in blanket and sausage rolls starters should not be missed and the coffee was also excellent at first (it is Clifton finally)
What can I say... It was a lot of roasts around Bristol, that's upstairs. Food unreal, service very good. We also sat outside and they made a lot of effort to jump out even though they were fully booked. Very good
Yummy sausage and more. We could not decide which sausages, so we have the tasting plate with 4 (each one). Great choice. Your #1 Dessert (the toffee pudding with butterscotch and vanilla ice cream will bring you right into heaven (or hell). Cosy atmosphere, friendly and friendly staff. Lifetime Travelmates approved!
